The resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “on measures to radically improve the system of training highly qualified personnel and further development of scientific potential in the field of dance art” and “on measures to further develop the art of national dance” place a huge responsibility on cultural and artistic figures, as well as on the relevant higher educational institutions.

In this context, the international scientific and practical conference on the theme “The image of a ballerina in the work of G. H. Andersen “the Persistent tin soldier”, held online on the ZOOM platform, held on December 11 this year at the state Academy of choreography of Uzbekistan, was of great importance.

The conference was attended by Director for research and strategic development of the Kazakh national Academy of choreography, doctor of Philology, Professor Zhanna Tolysbaeva, rector Of the state Academy of choreography of Uzbekistan sh. M. Tokhtasimov, head of the international Department D. Abdulova, Academy management, heads of departments, teachers, choreographers, teachers, and students.

The conference was opened by the rector of the state Academy of choreography of Uzbekistan Shukhrat Makhmutovich Tokhtasimov, who stressed that large-scale transformations are being carried out in our country aimed at raising the level of spiritual development of the people, preserving cultural heritage and national traditions, including in the field of choreographic art.
